This term has been expanded to include the treatment of the elderly not just in homes for seniors, but also with regard to financial matters. Elder abuse is growing by leaps and bounds and it is something that we as a society need to pay closer attention to if we want to ensure that our parents are going to be well taken of. As a matter of fact, we need to address this growing problem now if we ourselves hope and expect to look forward to golden years of pleasantry and security. Financial protection for seniors should be made a priority and it should be at the top of the priority list for everyone. For make no mistake about it, do nothing and we may as well say goodbye to financial stability. Do something now and it can only stand to benefit all. We need to be thinking about the future of generations to come. We need to take steps to stamp out elder abuse now for if we do not then tomorrow's generation will have much less to look forward to. Elder abuse is real; and those most responsible for this are primarily those in the health and financial industries. It is important for us to know this and identify this in order to start tackling the problem head on. I am going to leave you with a very insightful reference to check out.
